One of the most anticipated San Diego summer events returns this week as the San Diego County Fair rolls into town! The Del Mar Fairgrounds have hosted the event since 1936 and will once again be filled with visitors from all over Southern California. This June, the theme is Wild West, so grab your cowboy hat and your best pair of boots as you get ready to welcome the rodeo to San Diego! The fair has something for everyone with thrilling rides, challenging games, a cattle drive, and fun contests from corn husking to bubble gum blowing. Festivals and special events will be taking place throughout the month, with highlights including country music performances by Toby Keith, Darius Rucker, and LeAnn Rimes. Also making an appearance this June is the San Diego International Beer Festival — the largest on the west coast. Ticket prices range from $11-$18, but frequent fairgoers look no further than the “Best Pass Ever” offering 26 tickets for $26!
